Nightingale Health Care has been in the business of providing a comprehensive array of personal support, homemaking, rehabilitation and visiting nursing services of distinctive value since 1985. Over the years, Nightingale has developed a broad base of in-depth experience in virtually all aspects of community-based care.

Nightingale services include: performing personal care, assisting, supporting, reminding and directing client treatment modalities, maintaining household safety and providing caregiver relief. We work with clients of all ages, cultures, sex and functional ability. Client conditions and needs encompass, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Acute and complex needs
• Palliative/supportive care
• Chronic care, including the frail elderly
• Physically challenged
• Short-term and long-term rehabilitation
• Acquired brain injury
• Alzheimer's disease and related dementia
• Mental illness
• Post surgical needs
• Developmental disabilities.

Visiting nursing, rehabilitation, personal support/homemaking services are delivered in a variety of settings, including the client's place of permanent or temporary residence, e.g., own home, home of relative, long term care facility, group home, retirement home, rest home, home for special care. Services may also be provided in such settings as medical centers, banks, schools, recreation centers, the workplace, shopping centers and the like.

Clients must have their rights communicated, respected and protected. To that end, we believe clients have the right to:

• Comprehensive personal support, homemaking, rehabilitation and visiting nursing services of the highest quality provided by highly skilled and knowledgeable staff,
• Services which maintain or enhance their ability to enjoy life to its fullest,
• Participate in decision-making regarding their care needs,
• Make informed choices,
• Express concerns about the care or service they receive, and have their concerns addressed without prejudice, fear of reprisal or interference,
• Accept or decline consent to the provision of any service or treatment regimen,
